Terms and conditions

  1. On receipt by us of your completed booking form and deposit we will reserve your holiday. Your booking is taken to be confirmed and accepted in respect of all persons travelling when we dispatch our invoice to the person signing the booking form.
  2. Your completed booking form showing all clients must be accompanied by a non refundable deposit of 20% of the package price per person.
  3. The person signing the booking form confirms that he/she has the authority of all other persons included in the holiday to make the booking on their behalf and that he/she has read and accepted these booking conditions.
  4. The deposit is accepted as part payment towards the total cost of the holiday. The balance of the cost of your holiday must be paid no later than 6 weeks before departure, or as we may otherwise specify.
  5. If you book within 10 weeks of departure you must pay the total cost of your holiday at the time of booking. If unconditional payment of the balance is not received by us by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel your booking, forfeit any deposit made and levy a cancellation charge as though there had been a cancellation in accordance with paragraph 6.
  6. The price of your holiday as stated in the official quotation/invoice is fully guaranteed. In the event you cancel your confirmed booking, it can only be accepted if it is in writing from the person who signed the booking form, and the following cancellation charges will apply. Period before Departure Cancellation Charge More than 42 days Deposit only 30-42 days 50% of total cost less than 30 days 100% of total cost All passport, Visa and Health Certificate requirements are your responsibility and we accept no responsibility for any delay or expense incurred through any irregularity in your documents.
  7. We reserve the right immediately to terminate the services we are contractually obliged to provide to you if we, our employees or agents or any other appropriate person in authority in any place or on any vehicle or craft judge your actions or behaviour to be likely to cause discomfort or harm to our other clients or any other person or property. If because of such behaviour you are prevented from travelling, our contractual obligations under these conditions will terminate immediately. In either case any appropriate cancellation fee will apply and we will not be liable to you for any refund or compensation or any costs or damage which you may incur.
  8. Force Majeure : We will not be liable for loss or delay occasioned by any of the following. Strikes, Riots, Political Unrest, Hostilities, War or threat of War, Terrorist Activity, Industrial Disputes, Fire, Flood, Technical/Weather problems to transport, Closure of Ports, Weather conditions or any other event(s) beyond our control.
  9. Your journey to and from the airports of departure is included within the package, however we accept no liability for any delays, which might result in you missing your departure, we accept no liability in you delaying the start of your angling holiday.
  10. Clients are required to have an appropriate Travel/Holiday insurance in force for the period of the holiday.
  11. Whenever possible any changes to the booking requested after the written confirmation of the booking is sent out to you will be accommodated. Dependent upon the nature of the changes, additional costs could be incurred and e revised invoice will be sent to you.
  12. The holiday booked cannot be re-assigned. Only the persons shown on the booking form are permitted to enter the site. Jurisdiction: Signature of the booking form constitutes acceptance of a contract on these terms subject to U.S. Law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the U.S. Courts.
  13. Complaints Procedure : If you consider you have cause for complaint whilst in America, the complaint must be notified to our local representative in the first instance. In most cases, problems can be resolved if this procedure is followed. Any complaint addressed to The St Lawrence Experience must be sent no later than 7 days after your return to your point of origin.
  14. Liability : The venue liability will be limited to the cost of the specified booking form for that person.
  15. Our aim is to provide a high level of service to our customers. If you have specialist needs you must notify us at the time of booking. Children under the age of sixteen are our future anglers and if they are enthusiastic on their fishing, we would like to encourage them, BUT the danger of being in the close proximity to water is obvious so you must sign an agreement that clearly states that you are solely responsible for their welfare, health and safety at all times at this venue. Children aged 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
